Role:
Clean & Green Landscape specializes in high-end residential design build projects and the Foreman is the key person on site.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape construction, hardscape installation, and plant installation, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. As a Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of installation crews, ensuring that all projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
You will lead team members, train them on proper work methods, and oversee their work to ensure that it’s in line with the goals and objectives of the property.
Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and supervise an installation crew, ensuring that work is performed efficiently, safely, and according to company standards and client specifications.
- Train and mentor installation crew members on proper techniques, safety, and quality standards to ensure consistent, high-level results.
- Enforce company safety policies and procedures, promoting a culture of safety and accountability.
- Model and promote CGL’s core values in all work.
Project Management
- Review and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications, ensuring accurate and high-quality installation.
- Oversee and execute all aspects of landscape construction, including:
- Grading and drainage
- Irrigation systems and controllers
- Plant installations
- Hardscaping: pavers, walls, steps
- Synthetic turf
- Landscape lighting
- Coordinate daily with the Construction Supervisor and office team to ensure crews have the staffing, materials, and equipment necessary to stay on schedule.
- Plan and manage project execution, meeting deadlines and staying within budget.
- Identify and recommend solutions for field issues, ensuring work continues smoothly and efficiently.
Quality Control & Customer Satisfaction
- Inspect job sites daily to ensure quality standards are met and address any issues immediately.
- Take pride in the craftsmanship of your work and your crew’s work, ensuring final results meet or exceed client expectations.
- Communicate professionally and proactively with clients and management to ensure satisfaction and resolve concerns.
- Maintain clean, organized vehicles and job sites, including complete and well-maintained tool inventory on each truck.
Administrative & Operational Duties
- Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including work orders, timesheets, and equipment usage.
- Identify opportunities for additional billable work and communicate them to management or clients as appropriate.
Results:
- Projects are completed on time, on budget, and to high standards of quality.
- Crews are well-trained, productive, and motivated, with a strong understanding of safety and quality practices.
- Clients are satisfied and would enthusiastically recommend CGL to others.
- Worksites are organized, safe, and well-managed from start to finish.
- Company vehicles and equipment are well-maintained, clean, and fully stocked.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, team members, and management.
- Strong knowledge of landscape construction best practices, materials, and techniques.
- Great attitude, friendly disposition, and a strong customer service attitude.
- Must be self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and flexible and be able to prioritize.
- Capability of reading and interpreting street maps, design plans and work orders.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (preferred).
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Salary:
- $22.00 – $25.00 per hour
